Fondation René Touraine

Fondation René Touraine

20 years at the service of dermatology

The Fondation René Touraine (FRT) is an international non-profit organisation, founded in 1991 by Prof Louis Dubertret, with the main goal of supporting therapeutic progress in the field of dermatology at the international level.

FRT is involved in two different sets of actions :

  • Actions for continuing medical education : an annual international top-level symposium on a skin cell, research fellowships, prestige lectures at the major European congresses in dermatology and a reference book on therapeutics in dermatology available online.
  • Actions for clinical and therapeutic research : collaborative networks for rare genetic skin diseases and chronic inflammatory skin diseases (psoriasis) focusing on the patient needs.
