SINCE 20 YEARS, and thanks to your collaboration and help, the Fondation René Touraine:

• gave 96 fellowships to researchers and clinical dermatologists of 24 different countries;
• organised 19 high-level scientific meetings on skin cell functions, 8 working meetings focusing on the care of patients suffering from genodermatoses, and 3 worldwide meetings on psoriasis;
• organises every year, in collaboration with the ESDR team, since 2004, a prestige lecture at the ESDR meeting;
• offers a free online access to the reference book on the management of skin diseases « Thérapeutique Dermatologique » (over a million visits each year, from at least 130 countries);
• facilitates the access of patients to high-quality skin care in the field of genodermatosis thanks to the network « Genodermatosis in Mediterranean – Together Against Genodermatosis » and in the field of psoriasis thanks to the « Psoriasis International Network ».

In 2012, thanks to your involvement and with the help of new statutes, the Fondation René Touraine will:

• update and translate in English its e-book «Thérapeutique Dermatologique» with the comments of international experts;
• foster the animation of the networks on psoriasis and genodermatoses through clinical and therapeutic research projects. We also plan to develop directories making available for the patients and the GPs the list of services provided in each country to patients suffering from psoriasis and genodermatosis;
• reinforce collaborations with ESDR and EADV,
• set up a new portal website promoting the main actions of the Foundation.

We hope to achieve these goals together.
